Commission and some other stuff

This month I made a commission for someone. It was a skirt I made before. My costumer saw it at my booth during the last Gothic convention. I did not have it in her size, so I remade it for her.

I was so glad that I had some of this fabric left. I couldn't buy it from my suppliers anymore.



I got myself a new cellphone cover. I am way to busy *lazy* to Deco my cellphone myself, so I bought a sticker from this cute Etsy seller. Link:

Aaah I have absolutly no idea what to wear for Christmas, I couldn't find anything cute while shopping. I suppose I just have to figure something out with the clothes that I have -_-;;

Radioshow on Lolita

Hello there,

Last friday I participated in a radioshow about Lolita. It was just a short 10 minute interview on Radio 3FM. The DJ was Giel Beelen. He was very nice, and asked pretty good questions, but also very "direct" questions. Aniway, it was a lot of fun to do, I also enjoyed dressing up for the show. My Boyfriend took some pictures ( a lot actually ^^) I will put them on here later. He also came with me to the studio, and the DJ asked Him some questions to.
The show was late at night, and it was broadcasted on a tv-station.

International Loli Day

Hello,

Did everyone had a great International Loli Day last saturday? I know I had!
Even though it was a litle bit different then I had planned. I had to work during the day, so my outfit had to be work-apropriate. I wore a completly black coördinate, quite simple, but I still like it.



This picture was taken in the basement at my job. I forgot to take a picture at home, so I kind of sneaked downstairs to take this pic XD.

At night I would go to a party with my Boyfriend, but the weather had been very bad the whole day, there was so much snow and it was very slippery outside. We decided not to go out, because it was to dangerous to drive.
So I stayed at His place. And He gave me a realy cute present: adorable white fluffy slippers/ boots (No idea how to call them in English -_-;; )

Later that night we went outside to built a huge snow man, that was fun, and cold XD.

So my Loli day was great! Even though I didn't realy dress up or anything.
But this friday I will be able to dress up. I have been invited to come to aan radioshow and tell something about Lolita and about the clothes that I make. The show is late at night, between 1 and 2 o'clock. There will also be a live broadcast on tv, and it will be online later. The radion station is called 3FM. It is a pretty well known radiostation I think ^^

Mary Poppins and some shopping

Hello there,

To start this post, I want to say HI! to my newest readers. I hope you will enjoy my blog, I will try to update as much as I can ^^.

Now on to the actual post: Last wednesday I went to see the Mary Poppins musical together with my best friend. It is such an awesome musical, I had a great time. The costumes are great, also great songs. I have always liked the story of Mary Poppins, so I was very excited when I heard about a musical production of it.
I met with my friend in Scheveningen and we went to get some diner first. Then we went to the theater. We had the best places, on the very first row in the middle.
This picture kind of indicates how close we were to the stage:


We took one picture together, we tried to take one in the restroom mirror, but it didn't work out very well -_-;; , so a nice lady offered to take our picture. This is the result, and yes, I do look kind of stoned XD But I still do like the picture ^^


Aaaaand here is one that I took when I got home. Here you can see what I was wearing. I couldn't wear something very spectacular, because I had to work first and didn't have time to change.

SHOPPING

Today I did some shopping. It was so much fun, walking through the snow.
I bought a new dress / top, I needed something new for a diner party I have to go to next week. My boss organised it, it will be an theater diner, and I go there with all my co-workers, It will be fun ^^

It's so cute ^^, It is from Jane Norman. I realy like that label, their clothes are cute and fun, but not "difficult" to wear. They had lots of very cute dresses and skirts in the shop today.

Well that's about it. I am going to prepare now for tomorow, International Lolita Day!!!!!.
I can't do much with it, but I will wear a very Classic Loli-inspired outfit to my work tomorow, and at night I go to a party, and I will wear a Sweet Lolita outfit. To all Lolita's out there, Have fun tomorow with what ever you are going to do!!

First snow of the winter, and some good old times

Today the very first snow of this year fell down. It looks so beautifull outside now. It is a cold white winter wonderland


That is the view on my backyard from my bedroom window. As you can see, some snow is still falling down.

Yes the snow is beautifull, but also very scary, I had to drive home through it, and the highway was covered in snow, so that was pretty dangerous.I just kind of hope that this winter will not be as bad as last years winter. It was sooo very cold then

Now for good old times:
Someone sended this picture to me. It is a picture of myself at some festival about 5 or 6 years ago.

I looked so different back then, with shorter black hair with pink extension (not very visible but they are there XD ) And I have such an extremely white face here, I used to use a lot of white face powder hehe XD.
You can see my best friend behind me with her awesome pink furry handcuffs in her hair ^^ She still is my best friend right now, though our styles both changed so much through the past few years. I can't wait to see her again this week when we go see the Mary poppins musical in Scheveningen ^___^

Last friday I went to the beach, there was a lot of wind. I love the wind, its so much fun when it blows through my hair ^^ Here is a picture, as you can see it was difficult to pose in the wind XD

Some time ago I went to a Japanese dance night called Deshima Sound in Den Haag together with my friend Linda. It was great, we danced a lot, and there were a lot of very nice people.

Wow long time since I posted

I am sorry about neglecting my blog for some time! Welcome to my new readers ^^
I have been so very busy with sewing, work and lots of other fun things. I had to sew a lot for an event where I had a booth. The event was sooo much fun. There were so many wonderfull and beautifull people there.
I sold some pieces of clothing, which is always a great feeling. My friend Kimmy helped me in the booth, and she made a lovely little video of it. Please take a look, it is a tour through my booth, please enjoy



Today I found some funny template somewhere on the internet. There are 4 plain "dolls" with an age under each of them, age 10, 13, 16 and current self. And you are supposed to draw your clothing style for every age.
So I did it for fun, and here is the result XD


These realy were my styles when I was young, I actually still like the style I had when I was sixteen. I used to braid long black and pink curly hairextension into my own hair. It took me six hours to braid and hurted like hell, but it looked awesome ^^.
But I really love the Lolita style I wear a lot now.

Small event in Amsterdam

Today I went to Amsterdam with some friends. My best friend had a booth at this event, and the rest of us were there to help her out. The event kind of sucked, the music was really bad, and the organisation was pathetic. But we had a lot of fun with each other.
Here are some pics of what I was wearing that day. A few more will be added later, but they are on my friends camera.

I am wearing a Alice and the Pirates dress and socks, a BodyLine blouse, shoes and the rose in my hair is also from BL, but I added the pearls to it, because it was boring on its own.
I am also wearing a halfwig that I bought on Ebay.

My friend was selling some weird looking fake plastic whips 0.o, I picked one up, and my other friend told me to pose with it for fun and took some pics of me XD
And offcourse, there is icecream, yaay I had some chocolate/Vanilla icecream. I love that stuff, Icecream is one of the best things ever invented XD

It was such a fun day today ^^ and I was sooo happy that I could wear full Lolita again, I had not been able to wear it for a few weeks, because of work, and because I didn't go to any events.
From now on, I will have to sew a lot, at the end of October, during the Halloween weekend, I have a booth at a Gothic and Fantasy event, and I hope I can sell some handmade Loli stuff there.

Some sunday sewing and new Boots!!

Today I had to do some sewing, and I finished a offwhite classic Lolita blouse. I also started on a classic Lolita skirt, I will post pictures off it when it is finished.
This is the blouse, it is a pretty simple design, not to much lace and ruffles.

(please ignore the petticoat, it's ugly but very usefull when I sew skirts)

For some reason I have been really cold the past few days, even though it is summer in my country. It isn't very warm outside, but it's ridiculous that I am this cold. I sleep with extra blankets and big fat fuzzy wintersocks :S
Anyway, this is what I wore today. A warm knit top, skirt, thighs and another pair of fuzzy warm winter socks ( I love this type of socks XD)

Hmm I wonder why the color of my sweater changed so much in the picture, it is pretty much the same color as my skirt IRL :\

BOOTS!!
I got some awesome boots for this winter!! They are perfect for a winter Lolita coördinate, but also to just wear with a pair of skinny jeans or a legging.
So these are me new babies, adorable aren't they *^___^*

My Room

A few months ago, I went to a park together with a friend, to take some pictures and have a little picknick. We ended up not making a lot of pictures at all. We did make a tiny photostory though:
