Catsle Fest 2010

Sunday August 8,
I went to Castle Fest today. Castle Fest is a Dutch annual fantasy event in the gardens of Castle de Keukenhof. In my opinion, this is one of the best outdoor fantasy festivals in my country. I try to attend it every year, however, the past few years I went there to help out my best friend selling her goods in her booth, but she didn't get a booth this year, so we went there as real visitors. That was a pretty strange but wonderfull experience.
I was there together with my best friend Deborah and with Pim, another friend of us. And when we were at the festival we met this really nice guy who was dressed as a vampire. Pim knew him, and he was there alone, so we asked him to join us for the day, and he did. His name was Cela.



This was our group, except for the girl in the middle, she wanted to be in a picture with us ^^ So from left to right: Deborah, Cela, middle girl, Pim and me.

I spotted the cutest Lolita there:

This little girl was about eleven years old, and already such a fantastic sweet Lolita. I just had to take a picture of her. She was so adorable!!

And last but not least, me together with Deborah promoting Chocolate Milk. We were both very happy with our cans of chocolate XD

We made it to the Fit's finals!!!!

Yaay, our Fit's dance video made it to the next round. Now we had to make a new video. We did that yesterday in the Mfashion shop. Well, we planned to do it inside the shop, but it was a little to small for all of us, so we took everything outside, and made the video there.
It is already up online, and once again, we need the most views to win. So please watch it ^^ It is very funny!


It was a lot of fun to do again, we made so many bloopers XD. I also really screwed up again, I am not a very talented dancer :P
I hope we win this contest!! But it is already great that we made it to the second round.
All right, It's diner time now.

My grandfathers party

Last night I celebrated my grandfathers 90th birthday. We had a big family party. There were lots of relatives, and I didn't really know any of them XD. Most of them were already rather old to. It was fun though. Most of them seemed to know who I was, they have seen me when I was little, and my grandmother told them about my sewing hobby.The old ladies were very interrested in that ^^.
We had a nice diner in a beautifull restaurant. It was in the middle of a park right next to a big lake. The room where we were sitting had a vieuw on the lake, which was very nice.
One of the gentlemen who were attending told us a story about how he met my grandfather, he wasn't a relative, but grandfather lived and worked with his family during the world war 2 when the Germans came to our country. My grandfather had to hide from the Germans, and this gentlemen's family helped him out. It was a very interresting story, even my mother (it was her fathers birthday) never heard that story in so many details before.

For this party I wanted to wear Lolita, but I didn't want to freak anyone out there, so I decided to go for a more toned down Lolita inspired look.

I did my hair up, but it is not very visible in the pictures. I hope the party photographer (my niece :P) made a few pictures of me with the hair more visible. (I was actually quite proud of it XD)

The party was great, it was fun seeing and meeting all these people.
