Japan-market in Leiden

Today I went to the Japan market. It was very crowded, and I did not realy like it. But I went there with my friend, and we had a lot of fun. My Partner joined us for awhile, but he had to leave after an hour or so.

Wicked, tatting and randomnes

Hello Guys ^___^
Pff I have been busy, I am going to stop saying that I will update here more often, because I can't keep that promise anyway XD, So I will update every now and then.
Last Sunday I went to see the Dutch version of Wicked. I saw it about three years ago in London. I loved it!I was a bit worried about the Dutch version, I was afraid they would make a very bad translation, but I was surprised. It was very good actually.Afterwards, my Boyfriend bought me a t-shirt ^__^ I love it, it's cute, the image is sewn onto the t-shirt which gives it a bit of a 3D look.

This was my outfit. I choose to wear a bit casual and warm Lolita outfit. The show was in Scheveningen, which is pretty much right next to the beach, and it was cold when we left the theater. I have also done some more tatting. I am still learning. I wanted to make something I could "use". I always just make doilies or try-out thingies. So I made a bracelet with beads. The original pattern is for a choker. But I can use a bracelet more often.

I am very happy with the result, though it's not perfect, I think I am getting better ^___^.



Teehee me and my Boyfriend at a gothic and fantasy event during the Halloween weekend  ^__^

We are living together now, and we got our very first Christmas tree XD. I am soooo happy with it, but my christmas ornament collection is not so big yet, so the tree isn't very full. I still think it's cute though. I love the color combination, red and silver, it matches with the curtains ^^
Here is a view from the window of my apartment. They are building a garden in front of our flat. I saw the drawing of it, and I hope the garden will become as beautiful as the drawings. I can't wait for it to be finished ^^

Alright, that was it for now. Ow just one more thing, I want this fridge as a finishing touch (no really) for my house XD

Helloooooo

Long time no see ^^I haven't been able to update recently because I moved and had to live without an internet connections for almost a month.I also went on a very fun 10 day trip to Ireland with my Boyfriend right before we moved to our new apartment (Yep we are living together now ^_____^ <3 )It has been a very hectic time, and it still is. We are still working on creating a nice place to live. It is awesome already, A beautiful 7 stores up three room apartment. You should see the sunsets from up here, our balcony is facing the north Sea where the sun sets over, its lovely. I have already set up a little sewing area for myself in the spare room which we call the green room (just because we painted the walls a minty green colour ^__^)
So now that I have an internet connection I hope I can get more active on this blog again. And also on my sales blog. I can't take any commissions yet, because I still have a small waiting list with costumers. 

A few weeks ago, I went to Castlefest, which is an anual Dutch Fantasy festival. It was great, I met up with some very good friends of mine.

Isn't he awesome!!!! He is a great and very skilled actor called Cela. He is sooo very sweet, and he always looks awesome on this kind of events. He actually really takes on the character of Charlie Chaplin!

Mary Poppins and some shopping

Hello there,

To start this post, I want to say HI! to my newest readers. I hope you will enjoy my blog, I will try to update as much as I can ^^.

Now on to the actual post: Last wednesday I went to see the Mary Poppins musical together with my best friend. It is such an awesome musical, I had a great time. The costumes are great, also great songs. I have always liked the story of Mary Poppins, so I was very excited when I heard about a musical production of it.
I met with my friend in Scheveningen and we went to get some diner first. Then we went to the theater. We had the best places, on the very first row in the middle.

We took one picture together, we tried to take one in the restroom mirror, but it didn't work out very well -_-;; , so a nice lady offered to take our picture. This is the result, and yes, I do look kind of stoned XD But I still do like the picture ^^


Aaaaand here is one that I took when I got home. Here you can see what I was wearing. I couldn't wear something very spectacular, because I had to work first and didn't have time to change.

SHOPPING

Today I did some shopping. It was so much fun, walking through the snow.
I bought a new dress / top, I needed something new for a diner party I have to go to next week. My boss organised it, it will be an theater diner, and I go there with all my co-workers, It will be fun ^^

It's so cute ^^, It is from Jane Norman. I realy like that label, their clothes are cute and fun, but not "difficult" to wear. They had lots of very cute dresses and skirts in the shop today.

Well that's about it. I am going to prepare now for tomorow, International Lolita Day!!!!!.
I can't do much with it, but I will wear a very Classic Loli-inspired outfit to my work tomorow, and at night I go to a party, and I will wear a Sweet Lolita outfit. To all Lolita's out there, Have fun tomorow with what ever you are going to do!!

Last friday I went to the beach, there was a lot of wind. I love the wind, its so much fun when it blows through my hair ^^ Here is a picture, as you can see it was difficult to pose in the wind XD

Some time ago I went to a Japanese dance night called Deshima Sound in Den Haag together with my friend Linda. It was great, we danced a lot, and there were a lot of very nice people.

Wow long time since I posted

I am sorry about neglecting my blog for some time! Welcome to my new readers ^^
I have been so very busy with sewing, work and lots of other fun things. I had to sew a lot for an event where I had a booth. The event was sooo much fun. There were so many wonderfull and beautifull people there.
I sold some pieces of clothing, which is always a great feeling. My friend Kimmy helped me in the booth, and she made a lovely little video of it. Please take a look, it is a tour through my booth, please enjoy



Today I found some funny template somewhere on the internet. There are 4 plain "dolls" with an age under each of them, age 10, 13, 16 and current self. And you are supposed to draw your clothing style for every age.
So I did it for fun, and here is the result XD


These realy were my styles when I was young, I actually still like the style I had when I was sixteen. I used to braid long black and pink curly hairextension into my own hair. It took me six hours to braid and hurted like hell, but it looked awesome ^^.
But I really love the Lolita style I wear a lot now.

Small event in Amsterdam

Today I went to Amsterdam with some friends. My best friend had a booth at this event, and the rest of us were there to help her out. The event kind of sucked, the music was really bad, and the organisation was pathetic. But we had a lot of fun with each other.

I am wearing a Alice and the Pirates dress and socks, a BodyLine blouse, shoes and the rose in my hair is also from BL, but I added the pearls to it, because it was boring on its own.
I am also wearing a halfwig that I bought on Ebay.

My friend was selling some weird looking fake plastic whips 0.o, I picked one up, and my other friend told me to pose with it for fun and took some pics of me XD
And offcourse, there is icecream, yaay I had some chocolate/Vanilla icecream. I love that stuff, Icecream is one of the best things ever invented XD

It was such a fun day today ^^ and I was sooo happy that I could wear full Lolita again, I had not been able to wear it for a few weeks, because of work, and because I didn't go to any events.
From now on, I will have to sew a lot, at the end of October, during the Halloween weekend, I have a booth at a Gothic and Fantasy event, and I hope I can sell some handmade Loli stuff there.

Summer Darkness and other things

This weekend there was another event in my country, this time in Utrecht. Summer Darkness. It started on Friday and ended on Sunday. I only went there on Sunday to participate in the Lolita fashion show. I could not stay longer either because I was invited to my friends birthday party.
The show was fun, and everybody looked gorgeous! There were so many people watching the show, it was almost scary, but not as scary as an unexpected show I did a few years ago on a very busy festival. That was fun to, but completely unplanned and unprepared. And we had only two models, me and my best friend ^^. So the show this Sunday was a lot easier then that.

You can see my hair in this shot. I always said that I wouldn't buy a wig. But I decided a while ago to buy a half wig after all, because I really like curls, but my own hair is impossible to curl, every time I try it, it dies within an hour. This half wig is great, the quality is awesome, and it saves sooo much time O.o .

Birthdays and crafts

As I already said, I had to go to a birthday party after the fashion show. The gift I bought for her was packed in a very boring white box. So I wanted it to look nicer. Then I remembered that I still had a book on ribbon work and a lot of ribbons lying around. I never tried it before, so I gave it a shot.

On saturday I had another birthday, and I made some other flowers that I couldn't use on the first gift, so I used them on the gift for my other friend.

It is a lot of fun to do, and I am going to practice it some more when I have more extra time to spare.

Catsle Fest 2010

Sunday August 8,
I went to Castle Fest today. Castle Fest is a Dutch annual fantasy event in the gardens of Castle de Keukenhof. In my opinion, this is one of the best outdoor fantasy festivals in my country. I try to attend it every year, however, the past few years I went there to help out my best friend selling her goods in her booth, but she didn't get a booth this year, so we went there as real visitors. That was a pretty strange but wonderfull experience.
I was there together with my best friend Deborah and with Pim, another friend of us. And when we were at the festival we met this really nice guy who was dressed as a vampire. Pim knew him, and he was there alone, so we asked him to join us for the day, and he did. His name was Cela.



This was our group, except for the girl in the middle, she wanted to be in a picture with us ^^ So from left to right: Deborah, Cela, middle girl, Pim and me.

I spotted the cutest Lolita there:

This little girl was about eleven years old, and already such a fantastic sweet Lolita. I just had to take a picture of her. She was so adorable!!
